Thane: Villager ends life over wife's illicit affair
According to PSI P G Pawar of Kalyan taluka police station, the victim identified as Jairam Janardhan Bhoir was a resident of Kochle village of Vashind.
He ended his life by jumping into the Bhatsa river in the village on June 6 after being constantly harassed and allegedly beaten up by brothers when he objected to the affair.
His body was found yesterday, police said. The police have booked the three brothers Balchandra Bhoir, Ananta Bhoir and Naresh Bhoir in connection with the incident.
The trio have been charged under sections 306 of the IPC but no arrests have been made so far.
