Vadodara Man Tracked Down For Hoax Bomb Threats In 11 Mumbai Locations

Mumbai was thrown into panic on Tuesday following bomb threats aimed at three major financial institutions: the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), HDFC Bank, and ICICI Bank. This led to a comprehensive city-wide security operation.

The sender demanded the resignations of RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, accusing them of being part of what was referred to as the "biggest scam in India's history".

Responding swiftly, authorities mobilized Mumbai police to secure these identified locations. Thorough searches were conducted, thankfully revealing no signs of explosives or suspicious activities. Despite the absence of immediate threats, the incident highlights the crucial need for sustained vigilance and robust security measures.

A case has been lodged at the MRA Marg Police Station, and investigations are actively ongoing to trace the origin of the threats, ensuring the safety of both Mumbai's residents and its financial institutions.
