Mumbai, Oct 20: A day after the BJP emerged as the single largest party in Maharashtra assembly polls, all the major parties went into a huddle over the government formation. Follow live updates here:

Day 2 (Oct 21) 

9.35 pm: Union Transport Minister and senior BJP leader Nitin Gadkari says, "I am happy in Delhi, whoever is chosen as CM of Maharashtra we will give them all our support".

On the government formation in Mahrashtra, Gadkari says, "Talks are on with Shiv Sena, I hope a positive outcome comes."

8.30 pm: BJP MLAs meet Nitin Gadkari at his residence in Nagpur

7:30 pm: Its time to celebrate Diwali, after that we will come back to the process of selecting a CM for Maharashtra, says BJP leader Rajiv Pratap Rudy.
