‘Tell The Cops I’m Javed Shaikh’s Son’: Viral Video Shows MNS Leader’s Son Booked For Drunk Abuse In Mumbai

A viral video from Mumbai's Andheri area has sparked public outrage after Rahil Javed Shaikh, the son of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader Javed Shaikh, was caught on camera in a drunken and half-naked state, allegedly abusing a woman who was speaking in Marathi. The woman, social media influencer Rajshree More, posted the video on her Instagram account, capturing Rahil inside his car aggressively hurling verbal abuse at her. According to her, the incident occurred shortly after Rahil had rammed into her vehicle, and he appeared to be heavily intoxicated at the time.

In the video, Rahil can be heard shouting in Marathi, "Go and tell the cops I'm Javed Shaikh's son-then see what happens," while also allegedly threatening the police officers who responded to the scene. The footage, widely circulated online, has raised serious concerns about public safety and the misuse of political connections. Rajshree has filed an FIR against Rahil and has publicly shared the details of the complaint on her social media platforms.

This incident comes amid ongoing tensions in Maharashtra over linguistic identity, particularly following several high-profile cases involving MNS workers allegedly assaulting individuals for not speaking Marathi. The party, known for its strong regional language stance, has repeatedly drawn criticism for its confrontational approach to promoting Marathi in public life.

The case involving Rahil Javed Shaikh has further fueled the debate around political entitlement and accountability, as citizens call for swift legal action and equal enforcement of the law, regardless of political background or influence.
