Western Railway Introduces Special Train Service Between Bandra Terminus And Bhavnagar For Festive Season

Western Railway is set to operate a special train between Bandra Terminus and Bhavnagar to accommodate the increased travel demand during the festive season. This service aims to provide convenience for passengers traveling during this period.

The Bandra Terminus–Bhavnagar Special, designated as Train No. 09209, will leave Bandra Terminus on Saturday, 30th August, 2025 at 1:50 pm. It is scheduled to arrive in Bhavnagar at 4:30 am the following day. Conversely, Train No. 09210 will depart from Bhavnagar on Friday, 29th August, 2025 at 8:20 pm and reach Bandra Terminus by 10:20 am the next morning.

Route and Stops

This special train will make stops at several stations along its route in both directions. The halts include Borivali, Palghar, Vapi, Valsad, Navsari, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Viramgam, Surendranagar Gate, Botad, Dhola, Songadh, Sihor Gujarat and Bhavnagar Para.

Passengers can expect a variety of coach options on this train. The composition includes AC 2-Tier, AC -3 Tier, AC -3 Tier (Economy), Sleeper Class and General Second Class Coaches.

Bookings for these trains will be available starting from 24th August, 2025. Passengers can secure their tickets through all PRS counters or via the IRCTC website.
