Keenan-Reuben rerun: Shiv Sena leader stabbed to death for fighting molesters

leader was allegedly stabbed by five people on Thursday, who were misbehaving with a woman.

Reports suggest that, Ramesh Jadhav from Malad, was stabbed to death after he protested and spoke about five men who were misbehaving with a woman.

Jadhav is said to have died on the spot.

The police have arrested three of the five accussed, while the hunt is on for the remaining two. Meanwhile, the incident sparked of protests in the area.

According to reports, Jadhav always stood up against the accussed and resisted them as they used to tease women in the locality. Police said that the incident took place when Jadhav was at home.

The incident is a grim reminder of the Oct 2011 murder of two youngsters, Keenan Santos and Reuben Fernandes who were killed after they put up a fight against goons who were eve-teasing their female freinds outside a restaurant.
