Shah Rukh Khan Death Threat Case: Arrested Lawyer Searched His Security Details Online
Shah Rukh Khan, the Bollywood icon, received a death threat on November 7. Investigations have revealed that Faizan Khan, a lawyer from Raipur, was behind this threat. Before making the threat, Faizan had extensively searched online for sensitive security information about Shah Rukh Khan and his son Aryan Khan.
Security Details Searched
Faizan's actions were discovered after forensic analysis of his second mobile phone by the Bandra Police. This analysis showed he had been gathering details about the movements and security arrangements of the actor and his family. Despite being in judicial custody for ten days, Faizan has not provided clear reasons for collecting this information.

On November 7, Faizan made a threatening call to the Bandra Police Station's landline. During this call, he demanded Rs 50 lakh from Shah Rukh Khan. He warned that if the money wasn't paid, he would kill the actor. When asked for his identity by the police officer who answered the call, Faizan replied, "It doesn't matter, my name is Hindustani," before disconnecting.
Police Response and Arrest
The police acted swiftly after receiving the threat. They registered a case against an unknown individual and traced the call back to Raipur in Chhattisgarh. Using technology and assistance from local authorities, they identified Faizan as the caller. A Mumbai Police team arrested him on November 12 and brought him to Mumbai for further investigation.
Following his arrest, Faizan was presented in court where he was initially remanded to police custody until November 18. Afterward, he was placed in judicial custody for an additional 14 days as investigations continued into his motives and actions.
Faizan's misleading responses regarding why he collected information on Shah Rukh Khan's Y-Plus level security have raised concerns. The police are continuing their efforts to uncover more details about his intentions and any potential accomplices involved in this extortion attempt against one of India's most prominent actors.
The incident has highlighted vulnerabilities in celebrity security and raised questions about how such sensitive information can be accessed online. Authorities are likely to review security protocols to prevent similar threats in the future while ensuring that those responsible face appropriate legal consequences.
