Security Outside Salman Khan's Residence Beefed Up After Baba Siddque's Murder

The news of Senior NCP leader Baba Siddique's brutal assassination is not only devastating but also deeply concerning.

Notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who is a prime suspect in the murder of Sidhu Moosewala, as well as in the threats and attacks against Salman Khan, has been linked to Siddique's killing as well.

With reports suggesting Lawrence's involvement in the assassination, the security of Salman Khan and his family has become a major issue.

Following Salman Khan's visit to Baba Siddique's family at around 3 am, security around the actor has been increased manifold.

Commenting on the situation, a police source said, "Appropriate measures are being taken."

Earlier, as Salman Khan left after visiting Siddique, he appeared visibly uneasy.

While it is normal to be distressed in such circumstances, Salman seemed to carry an additional layer of anxiety. Security around his residence has also been strengthened.

Salman Khan has been on Lawrence Bishnoi's hit list for quite some time. On June 4, Khan gave a statement to the Mumbai Police following a series of threats and attacks targeting him and his family.

His statement read, "So, I believe that Lawrence Bishnoi, with the help of his gang members, carried out the firing incident when my family members were sleeping and (they were) planning to kill me and my family members."

Salman Khan's brother, Arbaaz Khan, also spoke about the situation, saying, "The recent incident of firing by two unidentified persons on a motorcycle at Galaxy Apartments, the residence of the Salim Khan family, is very disturbing and unnerving. Our family has been shocked by this incident. Unfortunately, some individuals claiming to be close to our family and pretending to be spokespersons have made loose statements to the media, suggesting it was all a publicity stunt and that the family remains unaffected. This is not true, and these views should not be taken seriously."
