RR Patil swears to put Mumbai gangrape case on fast track

The announcement, by Patil, was made after the verdict for the Delhi gangarape case was announced nine months later. "The crime branch probing the case will file the chargesheet in a week. There is no reason to delay the case. We will make the case very strong," he said. He futher said that he will make sure that the case is fast tracked.
The Mumbai police claim that they have substantial evidence against the five accused to nail them. The officials said that they will file the chargesheet with whatever evidence they have now. In the due course of time, if more evidence comes up, they will file a supplementary chargesheet.
The chargesheet will contain details consisiting the victim's ordeal, statements of the witnesses, evidence gathered from the spot, DNA analysis reports and other crucial details.
