Raj Thackeray's convoy zooms past toll plaza without paying tax
According to a video footage aired on Headlines Today, Thackeray's envoy was seen zooming past a toll booth without even paying the toll tax.
Thackeray is supposed to appear in a court on Thursday in connection to the recent vandalism of toll booths carried out by his MNS workers. Speaculations are rife that he may be arrested but the way things are curently, that seems like a distant dream.
Two cases were registered against him on Wednesday for inciting violence and endangering public peace. Thackeray had passed a diktat not to pay the toll tax while crossing a toll booth.
He openly said that if any person demanded for toll tax, they should be beaten up.This action of his drew a lot of criticism, with many leaders condemning the act saying that there was no place for goondaism in the state.
