No Dispute Over CM Post: Devendra Fadnavis As Mahayuti Wins Maharashtra Polls

This is the victory of Mahayuti, CM Eknath Shinde, Deputy CM Ajit Pawar and Ramdas Athawale, this is the victory of unity..."

Rising from modest beginnings to become a pivotal figure in Maharashtra politics, he is poised to reclaim the chief minister's position—a role he has held twice before. Fadnavis' rise began significantly before the 2014 assembly elections when he received substantial backing from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and senior BJP leader Amit Shah. Modi highlighted Fadnavis as "Nagpur's gift to the country" during a campaign rally, indicating his confidence in him.
