Nashik: Two Agniveers Lose Life As Field Gun Shell Explodes During Drill
Two Agniveers lost their lives when a shell from an Indian field gun detonated during a firing exercise at the Artillery Centre in Nashik district, Maharashtra, police reported on Friday.
The incident took place at the Artillery Centre in the Nashik Road area on Thursday afternoon, according to an official.

A group of Agniveers was conducting firing practice with an Indian field gun when one of the shells exploded.
The two jawans sustained injuries and were transported to MH Hospital in Deolali, where they were declared dead, the official confirmed.
A case of accidental death has been filed with Deolali Camp police based on a complaint lodged by Havildar Ajit Kumar, and further investigations are underway, the official added.
