Mumbai, Feb 14: BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will address a session at the Information Technology (IT) industry's biggest event of the year -- the Nasscom India Leadership Forum (NILF) on Friday. The session is scheduled to begin at 9 pm.

Modi will address the gathering at a posh hotel here via video-conferencing and will take questions from some of the captains of the industry. Sources said other top political leaders like Rahul Gandhi and Arvind Kejriwal were also invited to take part in the event but only Modi accepted the offer.

This is the third time that Modi would interact with the technology industry in the last few months. Recently, the Gujarat chief minister met selected executives from the industry who spoke to him about the major challenges that the industry is facing in the country.

Modi had reportedly asked them to prepare a white-paper featuring all their concerns which could be included in the BJP's election manifesto for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, the Business Standard had reported a few days ago.
