Mumbai: Who Is Zeeshan Siddique? Son Of Late Baba Siddique
Zeeshan Siddique, the son of NCP leader Baba Siddique, is currently in the spotlight following his father's tragic death. Baba Siddique was fatally shot by three unknown attackers on Saturday, October 12, 2024. The incident took place just outside Zeeshan's office in Colagate, leaving the family and community in shock.
Born on October 3, 1992, in Bandra, Mumbai, Zeeshan grew up surrounded by politics. His father, Baba Ziaudin Siddique, was a significant figure in Maharashtra's political scene. This environment naturally sparked Zeeshan's interest in politics from a young age.

Zeeshan Siddique's Political Journey
Zeeshan pursued education that aligned with his political aspirations. He completed a Bachelor of Management Studies and later earned a Master of Global Management and Public Leadership degree. These qualifications equipped him with essential skills for navigating the complex world of politics.
His political career began with the Indian National Congress party. Thanks to his leadership abilities and commitment to public service, he quickly climbed the ranks within the party. However, recent events have tested his political journey.
Controversy and Challenges
Zeeshan faced a significant setback when accused of cross-voting during the 2024 elections. This controversy led to his removal as the youth wing president of Congress's Mumbai unit. Despite these accusations, Zeeshan denied any wrongdoing and attributed his ousting to communal biases within the party.
Earlier, Zeeshan told media: "The treatment being meted out to minority leaders and workers in the Congress is unfortunate. The extent of communalism in the Congress and Mumbai Youth Congress is unlike anywhere else. Is it a sin to be a Muslim in the Congress? The party has to answer why am I being targeted? Is it only because I am a Muslim?"
A Time of Mourning
The loss of Baba Siddique has deeply affected Zeeshan and his family. As they navigate this difficult period, they are receiving support from friends and well-wishers who share their grief over this tragic event.
The sudden demise of Baba Siddique has left an indelible mark on those who knew him. As Zeeshan continues his political journey amidst personal loss and professional challenges, he remains determined to uphold his family's legacy.
