Yellow Alert Issued by IMD, Citizens Urged to Stay Vigilant

Citizens have been urged to remain cautious and avoid unnecessary travel. Despite the continuous downpour, there have been no reports of major flooding so far.

Train Services Disrupted on Central and Harbour Lines, Roads Also Affected
Commuters on Mumbai's Central and Harbour railway lines faced delays ranging between 10 to 15 minutes, as reported by the m-Indicator app. Western Railway services, however, continue to run on time. On the road network, a collision involving a truck and a tempo near Milind Nagar on the JVLR Road (MIDC) caused congestion on the southbound stretch. The Mumbai Traffic Police have advised commuters to avoid this route and explore alternate options.

Rain Likely to Continue Through the Week
The IMD's forecast indicates persistent rainy conditions for Mumbai through the week. Heavy showers are expected to continue on Thursday, June 19, under cloudy skies. Rain intensity is projected to reduce slightly on Friday, June 20, with moderate rainfall expected, followed by intermittent showers on June 21 and 22.
