Mumbai Weather Report: Residents of Mumbai can look forward to clear skies today. The temperature is expected to reach 35 degrees Celsius during the day and drop to 22 degrees Celsius at night. As for air quality, several areas reported moderate levels, while some experienced poor air quality as of 6 a.m. on Tuesday.
Mumbai Air Quality Index (AQI) Levels
The Air Quality Index (AQI) in various regions showed varied results. BKC recorded an AQI of 179, Borivali had 182, and Chembur noted 167, all indicating moderate air quality. Meanwhile, Deonar and Ghatkopar reported poor air quality with AQIs of 247 and 205 respectively.
Other areas like CSMIA and Worli had moderate AQIs of 124 each. Colaba's AQI was slightly better at 115, while Kurla recorded an AQI of 112. Kandivali East also fell under the moderate category with an AQI of 140.

Understanding AQI Categories
The Air Quality Index ranges from zero to 500. A reading between zero and 50 is considered "good," while levels from 51 to 100 are "satisfactory." An index between 101 and 200 is deemed "moderate," whereas readings from 201 to 300 are classified as "poor." Levels above this are considered "very poor" or "severe."
Looking ahead, Mumbai's weather forecast from November 13 to November 17 predicts mostly clear skies. Daytime temperatures are expected to remain around 35-36 degrees Celsius, with minimum temperatures ranging from 22-24 degrees Celsius.
Weather Forecast for Maharashtra
A report by Pune Pulse indicates that winter is beginning to set in across Maharashtra. Cities such as Nashik, Pune, and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar are experiencing a noticeable drop in temperatures. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has not predicted any rainfall, suggesting dry conditions will continue.
On November 14, residents might experience fog or mist in the morning hours before the skies clear up later in the day. This pattern aligns with the overall forecast for the week.
Mumbai's weather remains consistent with no significant changes expected soon. The absence of rain allows cooler weather to persist across the state.
