Mumbai Water Cut On June 19: BMC Announces 11-Hour Supply Disruption, Check Affected Areas
There's an important water update for Mumbaikars-Andheri residents will face a water cut on Thursday, June 19, 2025. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has announced that water supply in Andheri West will be halted for 11 hours due to critical repair work on the Bandra water line.

According to reports, engineers will undertake the repair of a 1,350 mm flow control valve on the Bandra water channel beneath the Gopalkrishna Gokhale Bridge. Simultaneously, the 900 mm butterfly valve on the Vesave water channel will be replaced. This work is scheduled to begin at 2 PM on Thursday, June 19, and continue until 1 AM on Friday, June 20.
Areas Affected
During this 11-hour repair window, water supply will be completely shut down in parts of K West Ward, including:
Parle West (Lallubhai Udyan, Lohia Nagar, Parle Gaonthan)
Moragaon (Juhu Gavthan No. 01 and 02)
Gilbert Hill
Juhu Gali
Sagar City Society, Andheri West
Temporary Water Supply Schedule
While water will be unavailable for most parts, the BMC has shared limited supply timings in some areas:
Parle West & Moragaon: 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM
Gilbert Hill & Juhu Gali: 10:00 PM to 12:30 AM (midnight)
Water Conservation Appeal
The BMC has urged residents to store adequate water in advance and to use it sparingly during the outage. Though the water supply cut is temporary, this maintenance is crucial for long-term infrastructure improvement and reliable water distribution in the Andheri region.
