Mumbai Water Cut: Complete Shutdown In Key Areas For 22 Hours; Check If You’re Affected
The Water Engineering Department has announced essential repair work on the Tansa main water channel in Lower Parel, according to the Lokmat report. This maintenance activity will be carried out from 10:00 pm on Thursday, November 28, to 8:00 pm on Friday, November 29. The work is expected to disrupt water supply in several areas for a total of 22 hours.
The repair involves fixing a 1,450 millimetres diameter water channel at Gawde Chowk on Senapati Bapat Marg in Worli. Due to this, the water supply will be completely suspended in certain localities of the G South and G North municipal wards, including Lower Parel, Dadar, and Prabhadevi. In addition, a few areas will experience partial water supply. Residents are advised to take necessary precautions and store adequate water in advance to avoid inconvenience during this period.

In these areas, water supply will be reduced to 33 per cent of capacity.
The municipal authorities have appealed to citizens to cooperate during this maintenance work. These repairs are necessary to ensure an uninterrupted and improved water supply in the future. Residents are requested to plan their water usage accordingly.
