The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has announced a planned 12-hour water cut in parts of Mulund (West) on Friday, July 19, due to critical infrastructure work under the Development Planning Road Project.
The civic body will carry out essential pipeline connection work for a 600 mm diameter water line on Yogi Hill Road, located in Veenanagar, Mulund (West). The operation is scheduled from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, during which water supply to several areas in T-Ward will be completely suspended.

Affected Areas:
- Malabar Hill Road
- Swapnanagari
- Veenanagar
- Model Town Road
- Yogi Hill Road
- Ghatipada
- B.R. Road
These localities usually receive water between 7:00 PM and 1:00 PM. The BMC has urged all residents in these areas to store sufficient water in advance and use water judiciously during the shutdown.
Advisory to Citizens:
- Boil and filter water for at least 3-4 days after supply is restored.
- Use stored water sparingly during the outage.

According to the BMC, this pipeline work is part of a broader development plan to enhance urban infrastructure and water delivery systems in the area. The civic body has appealed for public cooperation and assured that efforts will be made to minimize inconvenience.
