Mumbai To Bihar Special Train: Indian Railways Unveils Schedule, Key Stops, And Dates For 36 New Trips
The Indian Railways has announced that 36 special trains will run between Mumbai and Raxaul in Bihar to meet the growing travel demands. This new service will connect the two cities, with trains departing from the Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) in Mumbai. The move is aimed at providing better facilities for passengers travelling between these regions.
The outbound service, numbered 05586, will leave LTT Mumbai every Sunday at 4 PM. The Indian Railways has confirmed that this service will continue until January 2, with a total of 18 trips planned. Upon reaching Raxaul, the train will arrive at 7:45 AM on the third day of its journey, offering passengers time to rest after their long trip. This information was reported by the Times of India.
For the return journey, train number 05585 will depart from Raxaul every Friday at 4:55 PM. This service will also run for 18 trips, with its last journey scheduled for January 31. The train is expected to reach LTT Mumbai by 7:25 AM, ensuring a convenient morning arrival for passengers in the bustling city.
Major Stops Along The Route
The train will halt at several major stations, improving connectivity for passengers from various regions. The key stops include Kalyan, Khandwa, Itarsi, Nasik, Manmad, Bhusaval, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Prayagraj Cheoki, Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Danapur, Patliputra, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, Sitamarhi, and Bairgania. These stops will make the journey smoother and more accessible for travellers.
The introduction of these special trains is part of Indian Railways' efforts to ease the pressure on existing services and offer more travel options to passengers, particularly during peak seasons. This initiative is expected to benefit many travellers, ensuring more comfortable and timely journeys between Mumbai and Bihar.
