Mumbai To Abu Dhabi Flights Just Got More Exciting—Find Out How

Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the United Arab Emirates, has announced a special introduction of its iconic Airbus A380 aircraft for flights between Mumbai and Abu Dhabi. Starting on September 1, this service will be available for a limited period of four months, marking the airline's 20-year anniversary of operations in Mumbai.

Etihad has stated that this initiative is part of their celebration of two decades of service to Mumbai and India. The Airbus A380, a double-decker aircraft typically used for long-haul flights, will be deployed on the Mumbai route three times a week. This move is a tribute to the significant relationship the airline has built with India since its first flight to Mumbai on September 26, 2004.

Arik De, Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer at Etihad, highlighted the significance of this decision, noting that the A380, while generally reserved for longer routes, will be showcased on this special route to commemorate the milestone. Passengers will be able to enjoy this unique experience until December 31, 2024.

Etihad currently operates nonstop flights between Abu Dhabi and 11 cities across India and has expressed intentions to further expand its services in the country. The airline's relationship with India has grown considerably over the years, and this special A380 service is a reflection of its commitment to enhancing passenger experiences on this important route.

In celebration of this occasion, Etihad has also announced the availability of special A380-themed fares, offering passengers an opportunity to experience the luxury and comfort of the 'Big Bird' at sensational value.
