With the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicting intense rainfall in Mumbai over the next few days, speculation has been rife about whether schools will be given a holiday on August 20. Parents and students have been seeking clarity, especially after several warnings of heavy showers, thunderstorms, and gusty winds were issued for the city and surrounding Konkan regions.
