Mumbai Rains Today: Check The Detailed List Of Diverted BEST Bus Routes Here

Mumbai and its suburbs experienced intense rainfall early Monday morning, resulting in extensive waterlogging on major roads and low-lying areas. This caused severe traffic congestion throughout the city, significantly disrupting the daily routines of residents.

Civic officials reported that Mumbai recorded more than 300 millimetres of rain at multiple locations within a span of six hours, from 01:00 am to 07:00 am. Following the heavy rainfall-induced waterlogging, several BEST buses have been diverted from their usual routes, according to BEST Bus Transport officials.

Due to the waterlogging, the ANI shared the following diversions have been implemented for BEST buses:

1. LBS Road: Routes diverted on LBS Road include Workmen. The diversion is via Vinoba Bhave Road, starting at 03:20 AM.

2. Vinoba Bhave: Routes 302, 303, and 360 have been diverted via Kurla Flyover, with diversions beginning at 05:40 AM.

3. Dahisar Subway: Route 709 has been diverted via the Gartanpada Bridge. The timings for this diversion are from 4:00 to 5:00 AM.

4. Gandhi Market: Routes 521 and 368 have been diverted via Bhau Daji Road. The diversions commence at 4:00 AM.

5. Andheri Subway: Routes 251, 4, 84, 202, and 203 have been diverted via D.N. Nagar. This diversion starts at 04:30 AM.

6. Tilak Road: Route 521 has been diverted via Sharda Cinema, starting at 4:30 AM.

7. Sainath Subway, Malad: Routes 345, 460, and 281 have been diverted via Madina Manzil Flyover and Goregaon. The diversions begin at 4:30 AM.

8. Shivsrushti: Routes 361 and 363 have been diverted via Kurla Signal, with diversions starting at 5:00 AM.

9. Kurla Signal: Routes 58, 59, and 60 have been diverted via Amar Mahal and Suman Nagar, starting at 5:00 AM.

10. Wadala Station: Routes 63 and 10 have been diverted via Dr. B.A. Road. The diversions commence at 5:45 AM.

11. Borivali East: Routes 298, 301, and 297 have been diverted via Kasturba Road No.7, starting at 5:55 AM.

12. Gautam Nagar Road: Routes 706, 522, 415, 545, and 496 have been diverted via Vallabhbhai Patel Road. The diversions begin at 5:55 AM.

13. Shell Colony: Routes 360, 355, and 357 have been diverted via Chembur Naka, starting at 5:55 AM.
