Mumbai Police on a 'roll', takes Twitter by storm

Mumbai, Jan 28: Mumbai Police has created a virtual storm with its pun filled tweets in an effort to tackle issues like drug abuse and traffic violations. Tweets posted from the official account of the Mumbai Police and the Commissioner of Police, Ahmad Javed have caught the attention of the youth on social media.

In order to mark the anti-drug awareness week, Mumbai Police posted witty, pun filled tweets like: "Be a hero without 'heroin'."

Even the CP Ahmad Javed tweeted: "If you roll, we will weed you out." Officials used the hashtag #HoshMeiAao (come to your senses) to create awareness about drug abuse.

Javed was even seen tweeting during Cyber Safety Week. He said: "Your creepy comments on her photo will get you a long date with us."
