Mumbai Police Receive Bomb Threat Message Targeting PM Modi, Probe Launched

In November, a similar threat was reported by the Mumbai Police's traffic control room. A woman claimed there was a plan to assassinate Prime Minister Modi. The police registered a case at Amboli police station and are actively searching for her.

Last year in July, the Mumbai Police control room received a call threatening both Prime Minister Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The caller also warned of an attack similar to the 26/11 incident. This call was made to the police control room's landline number.

The recent message mentioned two ISI agents planning a bomb blast targeting PM Modi. Investigators suspect that the sender might be mentally disturbed or intoxicated when sending the threat. However, they continue probing to uncover the sender's true intentions.

A First Information Report (FIR) has been filed under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The Mumbai traffic police helpline has previously received hoax threats multiple times. Despite initial reports suggesting mental disturbance, authorities are following standard procedures in their investigation.

Efforts are ongoing to locate and apprehend those responsible for these threats. The police are adhering strictly to protocols while tracking suspects involved in these incidents.
