The incident occurred around 12:15 pm on LBS Road, a busy arterial stretch in front of the Johnson & Johnson factory, triggering panic among commuters and local residents.

How The Incident Happened

According to officials, a segment of a parapet from the elevated metro structure fell from a height during ongoing construction work. The falling debris struck a passing auto-rickshaw and nearby commuters, leading to casualties and injuries.

Emergency services and local authorities rushed to the site soon after the collapse. The injured were shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment while the area was cordoned off for safety and rescue operations.
