Mumbai: Man arrested for torturing minor for two years

, Jan 13: A 38-year-old man has been arrested for employing and allegedly torturing an 11-year-old

. The wife of the accused is still absconding.

The police claim that the girl was being assaulted for over two years now. The police also say that the man and his wife also denied food to the maid on several occasions.

The incident came to light when the couple's neighbours took the girl to the police. The police say that the couple brought the girl to Mumbai from Uttar Pradesh.
