Mumbai Local Train Viral Video: ‘This State Belongs To Us,’ Says Angry Marathi Man To Migrants | Watch
A video of a Marathi man expressing his anger over rising unemployment and the presence of migrants in Mumbai has gone viral on social media. The man, seen in a Mumbai local train at night, speaks with strong emotions, claiming that Marathi people are being sidelined in their own state.
In the video, he says that local Marathi people are struggling to find jobs, and their children are not getting seats in good colleges. He blames the growing number of migrants coming into Maharashtra, especially cities like Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, and Thane. These cities have seen a rise in industries, which attract people from other states looking for work. According to him, this is affecting the lives of local residents.
Sitting on a train seat, the man passionately states, "We are poor, but we have ruled our Maharashtra. Maharashtra belongs only to the Marathi people. You migrants come here and beg. This state is ours, not yours." He praises Balasaheb Thackeray and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, calling them his heroes. He warns outsiders not to take Marathi people lightly and tells them to go back to their own states.
The video was posted on Instagram by the account @vishayaika and has received thousands of views, likes, and comments. Many users supported the man's emotions. One user commented, "Real fact is anger from the heart. Jai Maharashtra." Another wrote, "Jai Shivaji! The emotions erupted like a volcano."
The video has sparked fresh debate on the issues of migration, jobs, and Marathi identity in Maharashtra.
