Mumbai Local Train Services Disrupted Today: Mega Block Hits Key Routes

Today, Mumbaikars will face significant disruptions on the Central Railway due to scheduled engineering and maintenance works. A mega block has been imposed across multiple lines, affecting thousands of daily commuters.

Block Timings And Affected Routes:

1. Matunga-Mulund: A block will be in place from 11:05 AM to 3:55 PM on both the up and down slow lines.

2. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) - Chunabhatti/Bandra: A block will affect the Up Harbour Line from 11:10 AM to 4:10 PM.

3. CSMT - Vashi/Belapur/Panvel: A block has been imposed on the Down Harbour Line from 11:40 AM to 4:40 PM.

Service Disruptions:

1. Down Harbour Line Services: Trains departing from CSMT towards Vashi, Belapur, and Panvel between 11:16 AM and 4:47 PM, and from CSMT towards Bandra/Goregaon between 10:48 AM and 5:00 PM, will be cancelled until 4:43 PM.

2. Up Harbour Line Services: Trains departing from Panvel, Belapur, and Vashi towards CSMT between 9:53 AM and 3:20 PM, as well as those departing from Goregaon/Bandra towards CSMT between 10:45 AM and 5:13 PM, will also be cancelled.

During the block period, Harbour Line services will operate between Kurla and Panvel with a frequency of every 20 minutes. Passengers using the Harbour Line are permitted to travel via the Main Line and Western Railway between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

Key Train Schedules:

1. Down Slow Line:

The last train before the block, departing from CSMT towards Titwala, will leave at 9:53 AM.
The first train after the block, departing from CSMT towards Asangaon, will leave at 3:32 PM.

2. Down Harbour Line:

The last train towards Panvel before the block will depart from CSMT at 11:04 AM.
The last train towards Goregaon before the block will depart from CSMT at 10:22 AM.

3. Up Harbour Line:

The last train towards CSMT before the block will depart from Panvel at 9:40 AM.
The last train towards CSMT before the block will depart from Bandra at 10:20 AM.

Commuters are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and consider alternate routes or travel times to avoid inconvenience.
