Mumbai Local Train Services Disrupted: Mega Block On Central And Harbor Lines This Sunday

Central Railway has announced a mega block on Sunday from 11:05 am to 3:55 pm between Matunga and Mulund on both up and down slow lines. This block is scheduled to facilitate various engineering and maintenance works along the route, according to Lokmat. Additionally, there will be a block between Wadala Road and Mankhurd from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm on both the Up and Down Harbor Lines.

Harbor Line Services Disruptions

The Up and Down Harbor routes will remain closed between Wadala Road and Mankhurd stations during this period. Consequently, the Down Harbor route services departing from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) for Vashi-Belapur-Panvel between 10:03 am and 3:54 pm and the Up Harbor route services departing from Vashi-Belapur-Panvel for CSMT between 9:40 am and 3:28 pm will be suspended. However, services on the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus-Bandra-Goregaon route will not be affected.

Special train services will be operated between Panvel and Mankhurd during the block period to mitigate the inconvenience caused to passengers. Passengers on the Harbor route are allowed to travel on the Trans Harbor Line and the Main Line during the block period from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Slow Line Services Schedule

I. Down Slow Line:

The last local train before the block is to Titwala, departing from CSMT at 9:53 am.
The first local train after the block is to Asangaon, departing from CSMT at 3:32 pm.

II. Up Slow Line:

The last local train before the block will leave Thane at 10:27 am.
The first local train after the block will leave Thane at 4:03 pm.

Harbor Line Services Schedule

I. Down Harbor Line:

The last local train to Panvel before the block will depart from CSMT at 9:52 am and reach Panvel at 11:12 am.
The last local train to Panvel before the block will depart from Wadala Road at 10:14 am and reach Panvel at 11:16 am.
The first local train to Panvel after the block will depart from CSMT at 4:00 pm and reach Panvel at 5:21 pm.

II. Up Harbor Line:

The last local train for CSMT before the block will depart from Panvel at 9:28 am and reach CSMT at 10:48 am.
The first local train for CSMT after the block will depart from Belapur at 3:47 pm and reach CSMT at 4:51 pm.
The first local train after the block will depart from Panvel at 3:45 pm and reach CSMT at 5:04 pm.

Passengers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly to avoid inconvenience during the block period.
