Mumbai: Chain snatcher pushes woman off train, victim critical

Turbhe, Sept 7: No place seems to be safe anymore for women. According to reports, a woman was allegedly pushed of a train by a chain snatcher on Friday.

The survivor is admitted in a hospital and is undergoing treatment. She is said to be in a critical condition. The railway police has lodged a FIR in the case.

This is not the first incident of a crime in a local train in Mumbai. A few days back a 28-year-old was attacked by an unidentified man in a station. The attacker had attacked with a sharp object. The victim was boarding a north bound train, when she was attacked.

In another incident, a few weeks back, a US national was attacked and robbed in the train. She was travelling in the ladies compartment when the incident occured. The man, had boarded the ladies compartment and tried to snatch her bag. Later on he was nabbed by the Mumbai police.
