Mumbai: 4 of a family killed in cylinder blast
Mumbai, July 16: Four members of a family were killed and three others injured in a gas cylinder blast in a slum here on Thursday, officials said.
The blast in a room in Golibar slum's Manilal Chawl in Santacruz east took place when Sailkumari Dikshit, a housewife, was changing the cylinder around 11 a.m., a police officer said. She sustained 90 percent burns.

The dead were identified as Rajdev Dikshit, 50, Kapil Dikshit, 40, Rajendra Dikshit, 30, Yeshwant Dikshit, 18.
The injured are Sailkumari Dikshit, 40, Shobha Rajendra Dikshit, 35 and Meera Upadhyay, 40. They have been admitted to V.N. Desai Hospital for treatment.
