Misti Mukherjee clears the air over porn CDs found from her flat
According to a news report, Mukherjee alleged her four female servants robbed them and called the cops to divert attention away from themselves.
All four are missing since the day police arrested her father and brother for sale of obscene material.
Mukherjee claimed that the entire family had gone to celebrate New Year to Goa, leaving only the servants behind, who allegedly stole cash and jewellery.
"When we returned from Goa on January 2, we found that our belongings were scattered all over the house. When I checked the locker, jewellery and cash worth Rs 1 lakh were missing. The CCTV footage was blank and the cameras hadn't recorded anything. I questioned the four servants about all this, but they denied any role in the incident," she told the daily.

"We never sold or distributed any such CDs to anyone in Mumbai. We aren't involved in any such business," she further clarified.
Both her father and brother, who were were booked under section 292 (sale of obscene material) of the Indian Penal Code and sections 66 (A), 67 (A), and 67 (B) of the IT Act, have been released on bail.
On January 9, 2.5 lakh porn CDs, DVDs and a laptop were recovered from an IAS official's apartment in a high- profile residential complex in Lokhandwala in suburban Oshiwara locality in north Mumbai.
When police raided the flat, they reportedly found "stacks of CDs and DVDs were spread all over the house. "In the kitchen, bathroom, hall, and bedrooms of the residence".
During interrogation, family members revealed that they purchased porn films from the South, copied them onto separate CDs and sold them at various places in the city and in Thane district.

"There was no complaint against the family. Whatever happened is very unfortunate and they will be removed immediately", the owner of the flat, Om Prakash Gupta said.
