Major fire in Mumbai building site
The fire broke out at around 10am on the roughly 23 acres 'New Cuffe Parade' plot. About 10 fire engines and eight water tankers have been rushed to the spot to douse the flames.
The Rs 10,000 crore project, titled 'New Cuffe Parade' comprising of both commercial as well as residential towers at Wadala in the island city, began in 2011.
The project is slotted to be completed in five to seven years.
