Maharashtra Government Launches Majhi Kanya Bhagyashree Scheme To Secure Girls' Futures
The Government of Maharashtra has launched schemes to support the future of girl children. One such scheme is 'Majhi Kanya Bhagyashree Yojana,' started on 1st January 2016. Under this scheme, each girl child born in a family receives Rs. 50,000. This aims to provide financial and social security.
Many people across Maharashtra are already benefiting from this initiative. The application process is simple, making it easy for eligible families to access.

To apply for Majhi Kanya Bhagyashree Yojana, visit the official website of the Maharashtra Administrative Department. Download the application form and fill in the details carefully. Avoid mistakes as errors can lead to rejection.
Once the form is filled, submit it to the Department of Women and Child Development along with the necessary documents. This step helps families receive the Rs. 50,000 assistance on the birth of a girl child.
The benefits of this scheme can be availed by the family for a maximum of two girl children. However, no benefits are applicable on the birth of a third girl child.
The scheme is designed to support families in making their daughter's future bright, secure economically, and empowered. Majhi Kanya Bhagyashree Yojana is part of a wider effort to empower the girl child in Maharashtra.
By providing financial aid, the government aims to ensure economic stability for families and promote gender equality.
