Maharashtra Weather Warning: Thunderstorms Expected Across Regions, Including Mumbai

Today, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts a partly cloudy sky in Mumbai, with a possibility of moderate rain or thunderstorms. The city is under a yellow alert. The temperature is expected to range from a low of 26 to a high of 33 degrees Celsius.

Mumbai Tide Forecast

According to tide-forecast.com, there will be a high tide at 2:16 AM, reaching a height of 4.66 metres, and another high tide at 1:59 PM, which will be at 3.9 metres. Low tide is expected at 8:17 AM, with a height of 1.46 metres, and again at 8:14 PM, reaching a height of 0.35 metres. Additionally, the sunrise will occur at 6:34 AM, and the sunset will be at 6:11 PM.

Mumbai Weather Forecast

October 22: A partly cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers. Temperatures will be between 25 and 34 degrees Celsius.

October 23: Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur towards the evening or night, with temperatures ranging from 24 to 35 degrees Celsius.

October 24: The sky will be mainly clear, with temperatures between 23 and 36 degrees Celsius.

October 25: Another mainly clear day is expected, with temperatures ranging from 23 to 35 degrees Celsius.

October 26: The sky will be partly cloudy, with temperatures ranging from 24 to 35 degrees Celsius.

Maharashtra Weather Alerts

The IMD has issued a yellow alert for several regions due to the likelihood of thunderstorms. The alert specifies that thunderstorms may occur, accompanied by lightning, light to moderate rainfall, and gusty winds of 30 to 40 kilometres per hour at isolated places.

The regions affected include Palghar, Thane, Mumbai, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Dhule, Nandurbar, Jalgaon, the Ghats of Kolhapur, Kolhapur, Satara, the Ghats of Satara, Sangli, Sholapur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Jalna, Beed, Nanded, Latur, Dharashiv, Akola, Amravati, Bhandara, Buldhana, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Gondia, Nagpur, Wardha, Washim, and Yavatmal.

Additionally, a yellow alert has been issued for Nasik and its Ghats, as well as Ahilyanagar, Pune, and the Ghats of Pune, where thunderstorms are expected to be accompanied by lightning, heavy rainfall, and gusty winds at isolated locations.
