Maharashtra Weather Update: IMD Issues Yellow Alert; Check Affected Regions And Mumbai Lakes Water Levels
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for several regions, warning of thunderstorms, lightning, and light to moderate rainfall. Gusty winds with speeds of 30-40 kilometres per hour are also expected in isolated areas.
The regions under this alert include Dhule, Nandurbar, Jalgaon, Pune, Satara, Aurangabad, Jalna, Parbhani, Hingoli, and Nanded. Residents in these areas are advised to be cautious, particularly during outdoor activities, as thunderstorms and lightning may pose risks.

Mumbai Weather Today
According to the IMD, the weather in Mumbai today will see fog or mist in the morning, followed by a partly cloudy sky as the day progresses. The temperature will range between 25 and 32 degrees Celsius. Sunrise is expected at 6:29 AM, while sunset will occur at 6:24 PM.
As provided by Tide-Forecast.com, the first high tide will occur at 00:38 AM, reaching a height of 4.18 metres. The second high tide is expected at 12:34 PM, with a height of 4.04 metres and the first low tide will take place at 6:32 AM, with the water level dropping to 1.19 metres. The second low tide is forecasted for 6:39 PM, with the water level decreasing to 0.64 metres.

- October 6: There is a chance of rain or thundershowers towards the evening or night. The temperature will range between 24 and 33 degrees Celsius.
- October 7: Similar to the 6th, rain or thundershowers are expected towards the evening or night. The temperature will range from 25 to 34 degrees Celsius.
- October 8: The weather will be partly cloudy throughout the day. Temperatures will range from 26 to 35 degrees Celsius.
- October 9: The partly cloudy sky will continue, with temperatures ranging from 26 to 34 degrees Celsius.
