Maharashtra Weather Update: IMD Issues Yellow Alert; Check Affected Regions And Mumbai Lakes Water Levels

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for several regions, warning of thunderstorms, lightning, and light to moderate rainfall. Gusty winds with speeds of 30-40 kilometres per hour are also expected in isolated areas.

The regions under this alert include Dhule, Nandurbar, Jalgaon, Pune, Satara, Aurangabad, Jalna, Parbhani, Hingoli, and Nanded. Residents in these areas are advised to be cautious, particularly during outdoor activities, as thunderstorms and lightning may pose risks.

According to the IMD, the weather in Mumbai today will see fog or mist in the morning, followed by a partly cloudy sky as the day progresses. The temperature will range between 25 and 32 degrees Celsius. Sunrise is expected at 6:29 AM, while sunset will occur at 6:24 PM.

The second high tide is expected at 12:34 PM, with a height of 4.04 metres and the first low tide will take place at 6:32 AM, with the water level dropping to 1.19 metres. The second low tide is forecasted for 6:39 PM, with the water level decreasing to 0.64 metres.
