In Mumbai, the maximum temperature is expected to reach 33 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature will likely be around 25 degrees Celsius. The city will experience a partly cloudy sky accompanied by moderate rainfall or thunderstrom.

June in Mumbai is typically characterised by high temperatures ranging from 28 degrees Celsius to 31 degrees Celsius. The month sees frequent rainfall, with an average of 15 to 22 rainy days, consistent with the city's tropical monsoon climate. This period of heavy precipitation is expected to continue, providing both relief and challenges to the residents of Mumbai.

The IMD has provided the following weather forecast for Mumbai over the next five days:

June 30: The weather on June 30 is expected to have a minimum temperature of 25 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature of 34 degrees Celsius. The sky will be cloudy throughout the day, accompanied by heavy rain.

July 1: On July 1, the minimum temperature will drop slightly to 24 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature remains at 34 degrees Celsius. The day will continue to experience a cloudy sky with heavy rain.

July 2: The forecast for July 2 predicts a minimum temperature of 24 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature of 33 degrees Celsius. The sky will be partly cloudy, with a possibility of moderate rain or thunderstorms.

July 3: On July 3, the weather will feature a minimum temperature of 24 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature of 33 degrees Celsius. Rain is expected throughout the day.

July 4: The weather on July 4 will have a minimum temperature of 24 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature of 32 degrees Celsius. Rain is expected to continue on this day as well.

Maharashtra Weather Forecast

The IMD predicts that there is a possibility of more than average rainfall in most parts of Maharashtra. The 'El Nino' ​​condition may remain neutral in the initial phase. But in the second phase of monsoon i.e. in July or August, 'La Nina' condition is likely to occur. The Meteorological Department has clarified that the La Nina conditions are favourable for this year's monsoon in the country.

IMD Issues Yellow Alert

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued yellow alerts for the districts of Palghar, Thane, Sindhudurg, and Satara due to the forecast of heavy rainfall at isolated locations. Additionally, yellow alerts are in effect for Akola, Amravati, Bhandara, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Gondia, Nagpur, Wardha, Washim, and Yavatmal. These areas are expected to experience thunderstorms with lightning, accompanied by gusty winds reaching speeds of 30-40 kilometers per hour, most likely occurring at isolated places.

IMD Issues Orange Alert

An orange alert has been issued for Pune, Raigad, and Ratnagiri, indicating the likelihood of heavy to very heavy rainfall in these regions.
