Maharashtra Weather Alert: Thunderstorms, Lightning, And Gusty Winds To Sweep Across Several Districts

According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the weather forecast for September 11 predicts a generally cloudy sky with light rain. The temperature is expected to range between 27 and 32 degrees Celsius.

As per tide-forecast.com, the high tides for the day will occur at 4:41 AM (3.4 metres) and 3:54 PM (3.2 metres). The low tides are expected at 10:12 AM (2.29 metres) and 10:41 PM (1.31 metres).

On September 12, the temperature will range from 26 to 31 degrees Celsius, with a generally cloudy sky and moderate rain expected.

For September 13, the forecast predicts a temperature range of 26 to 32 degrees Celsius, along with a generally cloudy sky and moderate rain.

On September 14, the temperature will again range between 26 and 32 degrees Celsius, with moderate rain and cloudy skies expected.

The forecast for September 15 indicates rain throughout the day, with temperatures between 26 and 32 degrees Celsius.

Lastly, September 16 will see rain as well, with temperatures expected to range from 26 to 31 degrees Celsius.

Maharashtra Weather Update

The IMD has issued a yellow alert in the following regions:

Heavy rainfall is expected at isolated places in Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg districts.

A thunderstorm, accompanied by lightning, light to moderate rainfall, and gusty winds (30-40 kmph), is predicted at isolated locations in Dhule, Nandurbar, Jalgaon, Aurangabad, Jalna, Parbhani, and Hingoli.

Heavy rainfall is likely in the ghat areas, along with thunderstorms and lightning at isolated spots in Nasik, Pune, Kolhapur, and Satara.

Thunderstorms with lightning are expected at isolated places in Akola, Bhandara, Buldhana, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Gondia, Wardha, Washim, and Yavatmal.

Amravati and Nagpur are also likely to witness heavy rainfall and thunderstorms with lightning at isolated locations.
