Maharashtra Weather Alert: IMD Issues Yellow Alert, Thunderstorms And Rain Set To Hit Multiple Districts
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for several regions in Maharashtra. Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning, light to moderate rainfall, and gusty winds with speeds ranging from 30 to 40 kilometres per hour are expected at isolated places.
The affected districts include Palghar, Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Dhule, Nasik, Ahmednagar, Pune, Kolhapur, and Satara. These areas are likely to experience stormy weather conditions, so residents should remain cautious.
In addition, thunderstorms accompanied by lightning have been forecast for isolated places in the districts of Buldhana, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, and Washim. Though the rainfall is expected to be scattered, there could be localized disruptions.

In Mumbai, the weather will remain warm with a temperature range of 26 to 34 degrees Celsius. Rain or thundershowers are predicted towards the evening or night, which could bring temporary relief from the heat.
