For the following day, August 5, Mumbai is predicted to have a minimum temperature of 25 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 30 degrees Celsius. The IMD has issued an Orange Alert for this day, suggesting a heightened risk of significant weather events.

I. Red Alert:
Palghar: Heavy to very heavy rainfall at a few places, with extremely heavy rainfall at isolated locations.
Pune and Satara: Extremely heavy rainfall at isolated places in the ghat areas, with moderate rain in the plains.
II. Orange Alert:
Thane and Raigad: Heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated locations.
Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg: Heavy to very heavy rainfall at a few places.
Nasik: Heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places in the ghat areas, with light to moderate rain in the plains.
III. Yellow Alert:
Dhule, Nandurbar, Jalgaon, Parbhani, Hingoli, and Nanded: Thunderstorms with lightning, heavy rainfall, and gusty winds (40-50 kilometres per hour) at isolated places.
Kolhapur: Heavy rainfall at isolated places in the ghat areas, with light to moderate rain in the plains.
Aurangabad, Jalna, and Beed: Thunderstorms with lightning, light to moderate rainfall, and gusty winds (30-40 kilometres per hour) at isolated places.
Akola, Amravati, Bhandara, Buldhana, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Gondia, Nagpur, Wardha, Washim, and Yavatmal: Thunderstorms with lightning at isolated places.
