Maharashtra On Yellow Alert: Heavy Rainfall And Lightning Forecast For Several Districts; Check List Here

According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Mumbai will experience a generally cloudy sky with moderate rain. The temperature is expected to range between 26 and 31 degrees Celsius.

Mumbai Weather Forecast

As per the IMD, Mumbai will experience a generally cloudy sky with light rain on September 10 and 11, with temperatures ranging between 27 and 31 degrees Celsius. On September 12, the sky will remain generally cloudy, with moderate rain expected, and temperatures will range between 26 degrees Celsius and 31 degrees Celsius.

On September 13 and 14, rain is forecast, with temperatures varying between 26 degrees Celsius and 32 degrees Celsius on 13 September and between 25 and 32 degrees Celsius on September 14.

Maharashtra Weather Forecast

The IMD has missed yellow alerts in the following regions as heavy rainfall is expected at isolated places in Palghar, Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg. Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning, light to moderate rainfall, and gusty winds (30-40 kilometres per hour) are likely at isolated places in Dhule, Jalgaon, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Jalna, Parbhani, Hingoli, and Nanded.

In Nasik, heavy rainfall is expected in the ghat areas, along with thunderstorms and lightning at isolated places. Pune, Kolhapur, and Satara are also forecast to receive heavy rainfall in ghat areas, with light to moderate rain in the plains.

Thunderstorms with lightning are predicted at isolated places in Akola, Amravati, Bhandara, Buldhana, Nagpur, Wardha, Washim, and Yavatmal. Meanwhile, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, and Gondia are expected to experience heavy rainfall along with thunderstorms and lightning at isolated locations.
