Maharashtra NEET UG 2024 Counselling Registration Begins: Follow These Steps And Apply Before The Deadline

The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has officially commenced the registration process for Maharashtra NEET UG Counselling 2024.

This critical counselling session is designed to facilitate admissions into various undergraduate medical courses, including MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, and more, across both government and private medical and dental colleges in Maharashtra.

Candidates who are keen to pursue their medical education in the state can now start their registration process by visiting the official CET Cell website at cetcell.mahacet.org.

The registration window for Maharashtra NEET UG 2024 is open until August 23. This deadline is crucial for all students who wish to secure a spot in medical programmes at state universities and colleges.

The counselling process will be instrumental in determining admissions based on the candidates' NEET scores, their preferences for courses and colleges, and the availability of seats.

Steps to Register for Maharashtra NEET UG 2024 Counselling

1. Visit the Official MHT CET Counselling Portal: Begin by going to the official MHT CET counselling portal.
2. Click on Medical Courses Counselling: On the portal, locate and click the link designated for medical courses counselling.
3. New Registration: Select the "New Registration" option. You will need to enter various details such as personal information and NEET score.
4. Log In to Complete Application: Once registered, log in using your credentials to complete the counselling application.
5. Payment and Submission: Pay the required registration fee. Ensure you click on the final submission link to confirm and complete your application.

During the counselling process, candidates will be asked to list their preferences for medical colleges and courses. Admissions to MBBS programmes and other medical courses in Maharashtra will be allocated based on these preferences, as well as the candidate's rank, seat availability, and applicable reservation categories.

It is important to note that candidates who do not complete the online registration form by the deadline will not be considered for admission.

Additionally, information regarding the schedule for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) rounds and admissions for AYUSH courses will be announced in due course. Prospective students are advised to keep an eye on the official CET Cell website for updates and further instructions.
