Maharashtra: NCP Leader's Daughter Joins Sharad Pawar Faction, This Is What He Has To Say About Her...
Maharashtra's Food and Drug Administration Minister and senior NCP leader Dharmaraobaba Atram made headlines with his fierce remarks against his daughter Bhagyashree and son-in-law Rituraj Halgekar.
Reports suggested that Bhagyashree might join the rival NCP faction led by Sharad Pawar, prompting Atram to publicly denounce her and urge the voters of Aheri Assembly constituency to metaphorically "throw them in the Pranhita river" for their perceived treachery.

Addressing the situation during Ajit Pawar's 'Jansanman Yatra,' Atram warned his constituents against trusting his daughter and son-in-law, stating, "People leave the party, but there is no need to pay attention to them. Some people in our family want to join another party by using my political clout."
He lamented that his daughter had been "pitted against her father" by rival NCP leaders, adding, "A girl who could not become a daughter of her father, how can she become yours? What justice will she give to you?"
In a bid to assure his voters, Atram said that his entire family, except Bhagyashree, remained loyal to him.
"If one daughter deserts me, another daughter is still with me so is my son, my brother, and my cousin's son," he declared, reinforcing his confidence in his political prospects despite the familial division.
NCP national president Ajit Pawar also weighed in, urging Bhagyashree to reconsider her decision, saying, "The whole family is with Dharmaraobaba, who has made one of them the president of Zilla Parishad... I want to tell them (Bhagyashree) not to make the mistake. Stay with your father."
