Maharashtra: BJP MLAs to meet today, to elect CM

BJP will hold the swearing-in ceremony on Oct 31. The ceremony will be held in the Wankhede Stadium and PM Narendra Modi is likely to attend the swearing- in ceremony.
Devendra Fadnavis has emerged as the frontrunner in the CM race. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari is also a favourite for the CM post.
However no details of the Cabinet or key posts have been confirmed yet. If reports are to be believed then only 6-7 ministers will be taking the oath on Oct 31 along with the CM.
On Monday, Shiv Sena softened its stand on BJP and said that they were ready to support any BJP candidate as the chief minister. Sena in its mouthpiece Saamnaa praised Narendra Modi and said that they were ready to support any BJP candidate as the CM.
