Maharashtra Government Announces Recruitment Of Over 100,000 Jobs
The Mahayuti government in Maharashtra made a significant announcement on Monday. During the monsoon session of the Legislative Assembly, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis revealed plans to provide over one lakh government jobs. He stated that 57,452 appointment letters have already been issued.

Fadnavis highlighted that the recruitment process began after Eknath Shinde assumed leadership under the Mahayuti alliance in 2022.
This initiative aims to offer jobs to 1 lakh 8 thousand candidates, marking a record in job provision. He stressed that the recruitment is being conducted transparently. The Deputy CM emphasized that this initiative is a step towards reducing unemployment and ensuring transparency in hiring.
He mentioned that around 19,853 students have received appointment letters so far. The remaining 31,201 posts are expected to be filled within three months. Fadnavis also announced plans to implement a law against paper leaks in competitive exams during this session.
He noted that discussions are ongoing with student unions regarding this law. "Transparent recruitment and new law against paper leaks," he said. The announcement underscores the Maharashtra government's commitment to addressing unemployment and maintaining transparency in the recruitment process.
