Maharashtra: Fire Breaks Out At A Glove Factory, 6 Dead
According to the reports, a massive fire broke out in Maharashtra on the interjecting night of Sunday that claimed six lives. The incident happened at a glove factory situated in Aurangabad's Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
The reports said at least six people succumbed in the tragic incident and many ran out after the fire came in to notice. Talking to the media, a worker said the factory was closed when the fire engulfed the factory and workers were sleeping inside it. He said that the incident happened at around 2:15 am.
It was such a massive fire that it took hours to douse it.

After being informed, firefighters and police swiftly rushed to the spot. According to the reports, firefighters extinguished the massive fire with the help of multiple firefighting vans and recovered six dead bodies from inside the factory. The situation has been brought under control now, said an official.
"We received a call at 2:15 a.m. When we reached the site, the entire factory was on fire. Our officers entered and the bodies of six people have been recovered," News agency ANI quoted Mohan Mungse, a Firefighting official.
One of the workers, trapped inside the factory at the time of the incident, told the media that around ten to fifteen workers were sleeping inside the building when the fire erupted. Many managed to escape, but five to six were still trapped inside the building that was ablaze.
The exact reason for the fire has not been discovered yet, and the police have registered a case to investigate the cause behind the massive fire and the deaths of six workers.
