Having been assured by Nestle officials, Madhuri took to twitter to share her reactions regarding the whole controversy. Here's what she tweeted while defending Maggi noodles and her association with the brand.

Maggi recently came under the scanner after samples collected by Uttar Pradesh Food Safety and Drug Administration were reported to be containing Mono Sodium Glutamate (MSG) and lead more than the permissible limits. Nestle India was asked to withdraw a batch of the popular snack from the market by the authorities in Uttar Pradesh recently.

Disputing the claim, Nestle India had said, "The company does not agree with the order and is filing the requisite representations with the authorities."
