Maggi recently came under the scanner after samples collected by Uttar Pradesh Food Safety and Drug Administration were reported to be containing Mono Sodium Glutamate (MSG) and lead more than the permissible limits. Nestle India was asked to withdraw a batch of the popular snack from the market by the authorities in Uttar Pradesh recently.
Disputing the claim, Nestle India had said, "The company does not agree with the order and is filing the requisite representations with the authorities."
