Mumbai: Lucky family get back its forgotten valueables from train


Mumbai, March 20: Even though the crime is at its peak in our country, but honesty still prevails in today's time.

According to Mid Day report, a family was returning to Mumbai from their hometown in Jaipur when one of their family member forgot her purse in the train, they were travelling in.


The purse contained valuables like her diamond earrings, mobile phone, credit card, debit card and some cash.

The incident happened on Sunday, March 15, when the family got down at the Borivali railway station at around 6.40 pm and boarded a suburban train to Bhayander.

After 15-20 minutes, Deepak Sharma's sister-in-law Santosh Sharma realised that she has forgotten her purse in the train.

Thankfully, they had the number of Railway Protection Force (RPF) staff and they immediately called them.

The RPF staff then informed Mumbai Central inspector, who in turn contacted the coach attendant of the train Tulsidas Mishra.

Mishra immediately went to the seat and found the purse under a pillow.

The family was surprised and happy to get their purse back with all their valuables safe.

RPF staff also assured them they would continure to do such good work.
