Ladki Bahin Yojana: Feb Instalment To Reach Beneficiaries Ahead Of Women’s Day – Check The Date

In a move aimed at benefiting women across the state, Women and Child Development Minister Aditi Tatkare announced that the February 2025 instalment under the Ladki Bahin Yojana will be credited to the accounts of eligible beneficiaries by March 7, as per the Hindustan Times (HT) report. This timely disbursement comes just ahead of International Women's Day, which is celebrated on March 8, and highlights the government's ongoing commitment to empowering women.

The Ladki Bahin Yojana, launched by the state government, aims to provide financial support to women aged 21-65 from families whose annual income is below Rs 2.5 lakh. Under this initiative, eligible women receive Rs 1,500 per month, helping them with their financial needs and promoting their independence.

Speaking at the state legislature, Minister Tatkare confirmed that the disbursement process for the February instalment would begin on March 5, ensuring that the amount reaches beneficiaries' bank accounts by March 7. She further assured that the March instalment would also be credited before the end of the month, as part of the government's commitment to maintaining timely financial assistance.

Minister Tatkare strongly rejected opposition claims that the scheme might be discontinued, reaffirming that the Ladki Bahin Yojana will continue to be a vital part of the state's welfare programmes. She emphasised the government's dedication to ensuring the scheme's success and its long-term impact on women's lives, stating, "We are firmly committed to the welfare of women, and this scheme will continue to benefit them."
